Teryk Mindoro has recently graduated from Colorado State University in December of 2019. There, he studied English with a concentration in Creative Writing. He has just achieved his Bachelor's degree and has dreams of becoming an author.Teryk Mindoro has accumulated a number of accomplishments, both as part of a larger unit and as an individual worker. He has experience as a team player on numerous teams, ranging from lacrosse to tennis, and has earned his own merits within both sports. Some of these merits include starting defensive specialist and Junior Varsity tennis player. Additionally, one of his individual achievements is that he was elected by his fellow graduating class to provide the commencement speech on the Fall 2019 voyage of Semester at Sea.Throughout his time at Colorado Stae University, he has worked numerous jobs. His first job was as a crew supervisor and landscaper for the elderly community known as Heather Gardens. Here, he would be in charge of 5 landscapers and create daily schedules in order to provide oversight for the completion of daily tasks. The crews he led would complete numerous jobs, such as tending to the flora and fauna of the property, removing and replacing rocks for rock beds, and removing snow during the winter months. All of these would utilize several small and medium sized equipment, thus expanding his knowledge of how to use an array of tools. Additionally, this position allowed him to have direct contact with customers. As part of his job, he would socialize with residents of the community and take personal requests for landscape work.During his first summer as a landscaper, he also acquired a job as a cashier and a sales associate at Ace Hardware, where he would be working year-round. Here, Mindoro would learn how to operate a Point of Sale System (POS) known as EPICOR, how to interact with customers in useful and meaningful ways, and how to uphold the mission of the company. Upon his return after his first year of college, Teryk Mindoro would continue working his seasonal landscaping job in addition to his newly acquired position as a support member at TopGolf. Although he only works seasonally during the summer, this position has taught him incredible amounts regarding customer service, food preparation, food serving, bussing tables, and tending to the needs of every guest.
