I ensured that 15 tugboats, 2 crewboats and 3 deckboats operated safely and within USCG regulations and customer requirements. I was primary in charge of developing and CG certifying the company’s Towing Safety Management System (TSMS) and bringing mariners and tugs into Subchapter M compliance through Third Party Organization (TPO) Audits and CG Inspections. I also led compliance with Oil Companies International Marine Forum audits and assessments of the marine fleet of vessel and management.

I developed and maintained operations in compliant with government and company regulations, continuously monitored and generated safe operating practices and strengthened customer relationships and services. I was the Corporate Security Office (CSO), Designated Person Ashore (DPA) and since 07/16 performed HSE and Risk Management duties, Certified ISO 9000/9001:2015 & ISM Code Internal Auditor, Incident & Accident Investigator, Case Management and Marine Insurance Management.
