Tesfashbamlak Molla earned a BSc and MSc from Alemaya University, Ethiopia.Tesfashbamlak is an Agricultural researcher with national and international experience in Agronomy , breeding, Food Security , Conservation Agriculture, Natural Resource Management, Climate Change and Gender program design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Tesfashbamlak believes that both men and women are key actors and change drivers in development and has been engaged in creating systems that support both men and women to discharge their full potential. She is one of the beneficiaries of the AWARD(African Women in Agricultural Research and Development) for women program that works to empower women in agricultural careers to be leaders and change agents in local and global communities. Apart from her regular work in International Non-profit Organization, Tesfashbamlak spends her time inspiring, mentoring and equipping young women and girls to be leaders, change agents and champions of poverty alleviation and environmental conservation programs in their community. Tesfashbamlak is highly interested to do her PHD in the field of stress ( heat/drought) physiology/ breeding.
