Created, piloted, and launched new online tutoring model that was included with Reasoning Mind’s elementary math program, at a cost of less than $1 per enrolled student. In the first year, 4,700 sessions were provided to 1,800 students. After tutoring, 60% of students were able to independently pass a problem set on a previously-failed topic.Collected, analyzed, and disseminated system-wide tutoring data, including the number of hours of tutoring for each student and success rates in each tutored objective. Oversaw a team of two managers and up to nineteen remote, part-time employees.

Recruited, hired, and developed 34 skilled tutors and 18 mentors to provide high-quality math instruction consistent with Reasoning Mind’s curriculum and pedagogy. In an average academic year, tutors provided 2,000 hours of direct instruction to elementary students and mentors responded individually to as many as 183,000 student messages. Designed and implemented multiple year-long randomized controlled trials to measure effectiveness of tutoring implementation models within several large public school districts in Texas. Served as liaison for school administrators and teachers across three states, and created tutoring schedules to efficiently match tutoring time with classroom schedules.

Partnered with schools and districts to develop high-impact implementation plans by conducting analysis of school, teacher and student level data to target unique needs.Evaluated implementation fidelity to provide feedback and counseling, guidance and problem solving, and professional development for teachers and administrators. Created resources to fulfill teacher needs, led internal projects to improve processes, and provided user feedback to software and curriculum teams. Worked with a team of Program Coordinators, providing support, coaching, and training to ensure high-quality and effective support for all partner schools.
