Senior SSRS Report Developer (Remote position)- Assist client company Restaurant Accounting Services Inc (RASI) as SSRS SME & mentor junior SSRS developers- Created a multilevel Item Variance report to display which inventory items‘ actual usage differed the most from the expected usage, plus the cost & recipes associated with each item. Created a nightly process to “flatten” all menu recipes by cycling through each preparation recipe to create a direct link to all ingredients used & calculate correct amounts used in the final menu recipe- Create a report to help restaurants report their second round of PPP financial information to the government. Report consisted of 1 RDL based on results from 9 different stored procedures.

Tools included a prototype dashboard in Power BI & Ad Hoc reports in SSRS 2017 Report Builder- Migrate data to Carity, a configurable OTS eLTSS solution, from legacy systems for the state of Maine through creation of an SSIS package for importing Intake Assessment files & stored procedures for data in tables- Created a quick guide to provide to application developers/new hires when learning to create reports. Created templates for RDLs, main report SPs & error checking SPs for use by BI & app developers. These templates standardized the look, feel & behind the scenes operation of a report in order to ensure consistency & ease of maintenance regardless of who created it. Objects were stored in Git for easy access by all teams- Created a guide for QA resources on how to test Ad Hoc reporting in Report Builder

- Provide reporting expertise through: maintaining existing Crystal Reports, consolidating & converting Crystal Reports to SSRS whenever possible with stored procedures used to pull the data deploying reports to and managing rights on Reportal web-based report delivery software - Automated production & delivery of monthly customer financial statements using Sage Alerts & Workflow (KnowledgeSync) & Crystal Reports - Write SQL scripts to correct data in Sage CRM - Support several automated processes that require minor manual intervention

- Create new and modify existing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services and Crystal Reports X in support of a healthcare company that provides disease management wellness programs to supplement clients’ medical benefits packages- Convert Crystal reports over to SSRS as needed. Also rewrite SSRS report to be based off of stored procedures instead of code written directly into the report- Assist in designing flexible system that will store letter templates & variations within the database instead of having hardcoded variations within a single report or creating multiple reports

- Support HCPSS’s migration to a new Student Information System (SIS) & Data Warehousing/Dashboard application (DW) for 74 schools by functioning as SME for SSRS & T-SQL- Automate production of 74 Excel files with between 275 - 1000 columns. Wrote stored procedures to combine data from new SIS & old Oracle in-house app. Created 3 SSIS packages to execute the SPs, then run an SSRS report for each individual school & export the data as an Excel file to a network folder- Promote atmosphere of sharing by answering questions, conducting training sessions for teammates with little to no T-SQL/SSRS experience & assisting others with advanced reporting issues- Create, using SSRS based on SQL Server stored procedures, a suite of new health reports & an assortment of additional reports- Assist System Admin in setup, configuration & troubleshooting multiple issues for SSRS Report Manager & Report Service- Lead tester for 1 of 2 counties in the country to beta test functionality in the SIS for adding custom SSRS reports to the application menu. Identified multiple issues, some of which present challenges to the vendor- Responsible for providing various mandatory data from the new SIS to the state including info to procure State IDs for students (USIS), teacher/student demographic info & rosters for Kindergarten Readiness Assessments & Sept 30th Attendance info - a significant amount of funding for the year is based off this file
