I worked as a Consultant for large, NGO- and USAID- funded projects in Nigeria, Tunisia, and Honduras, as well as supported the firm’s business development efforts by writing project proposals and conducting market research in Africa, South America, and Asia. My core projects ranged from $10M to $110M in funding value and scopes included energy sector reform, public works (waste collection, street lighting, etc.), and public financial management. I was responsible for:--Managing startup activities, which included sourcing office locations, hiring and training local staff, implementing office procedures, and developing/finalizing subcontracts.--Managing complex budgets, completing project-based cost projections, and presenting financial data analyses to clients and leadership. --Communicating across stakeholders (international consultants, local teams, clients, and internal firm leadership) in the form of monthly reports and hosting progress meetings.--Navigating the respective country’s legal and tax regulations by working with both local counsel and internal legal teams.--Overseeing large-scale procurements ($2M+) and managing subcontracts, ensuring contract terms were met and work was being delivered according to budget. --Producing specialized reports on environmental impact and minority inclusion. --Ensuring project met client contract requirements and international audit standards. Clients included World Bank, IMF, MCC, AECOM, and USAID.
