As the Operations Manager, it is my duty to work closely with the firm's Managing Partners to oversee and manage all finance and operational components of running a venture capital firm. My role was primarily focused on coordinating the initial design, implementation, and ongoing operational management of the firm's Global Infrastructure Debt Fund, a new $1B mandate focused on investing in large-scale energy, transport, and telecom assets across Europe, APAC, and North America. I also supported the Investment Operations team with the ongoing (BAU) management of the firm’s broader portfolio, working on everything from investor DDQs to fund re-structures. The Guilmartin Group is a private holding of companies that offer manufacturing and accommodation services to mining companies throughout Western Australia and Queensland. Their primary offering includes location scouting, construction, and ongoing maintenance of mining camps in remote regions, with key clients being BHP, MGM Bulk, and Fortescue Metals Group (FMG). My role was to identify suitable business opportunities in the Pilbara region, assess environmental impact and sustainable investment initiatives, map supplier and vendor resources, coordinate alongside local subcontractors to develop detailed cost analyses, and develop new business proposals.

CTEK is a non-profit organization that supports entrepreneurs in developing countries. I primarily worked on their initiative in the Middle East/North Africa (MENA) region that focused on teaching computer and coding skills to rural women in order to help them access global opportunities and start online businesses. I helped regional operators plan local workshops and courses, conducted insight analyses on programs in different regions, coordinated across project stakeholders and local trainers, and provided both technical and financial project updates to investors and company leadership.

I worked as a Consultant for large, NGO- and USAID- funded projects in Nigeria, Tunisia, and Honduras, as well as supported the firm’s business development efforts by writing project proposals and conducting market research in Africa, South America, and Asia. My core projects ranged from $10M to $110M in funding value and scopes included energy sector reform, public works (waste collection, street lighting, etc.), and public financial management. Clients included World Bank, IMF, MCC, AECOM, and USAID.
