Tess Mele, Otr/L Email and Phone Number
I am a newly registered occupational therapist and recent graduate of the BS/MS Occupational Therapy program at the University of New Hampshire, where I graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in December 2023. My passion for Occupational Therapy stems from having the opportunity to make a difference in someone else’s life. Through my own life experiences, I have recognized how invaluable it is to feel supported. As an Occupational Therapist, I hope to be the one to provide feelings of support to clients as they engage in occupations that they find both meaningful and purposeful. I am eager to be a part of such an evolving profession and look forward to working collaboratively and creatively with other healthcare members, empowering people to achieve their goals. Over the past year, I had the opportunity to complete my Level II fieldwork placements at Franciscan Children’s Hospital and Winchester Hospital. Both fieldworks ignited my passion for pursuing an OT career in an acute care setting, and provided me with the tools necessary to provide compassionate patient care to individuals facing complex medical diagnoses across the lifespan.
