About Tessa Coffeng
As an organisational psychologist working at the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM), I lead and advise supervisory projects that aim to understand and influence (non)compliant behaviour of supervised entities. For this aim, I use methods and knowledge from social and organisational psychology, leading to more insight into predictors and root causes of (mis)conduct and effective behavioural interventions. Through our collaboration with Utrecht University, I also advise on academic projects that investigate the effectiveness of supervisory interventions. These projects lead to the publication of academic and popular articles. To further share our findings with other market authorities and inspectorates, I regularly present our work at professional events and conferences as a (keynote) speaker or workshop facilitator. In my various professional roles, I became an experienced advisor and project leader, highly skilled in change management, stakeholder engagement and organisational behaviour. Moreover, I’m an experienced public speaker, which suits my mission to connect behavioural science to supervisory practice.Personal website: www.uu.nl/staff/TCoffeng
