I really enjoy what I do. I get to solve problems, create opportunities to collaborate with my coworkers, learn from my challenges and make laboratory work better for us and our patients. My professional background is in Diagnostic Molecular Pathology and I've worked at MSK since I was a 22 year-old college intern, almost 10 years ago. I have worked on the bench, in R&D, and over the last 4 years have woven those experiences into my career as a Laboratory Automation Engineer. I believe that transformational leadership and that building shared investment between teams in the laboratory is the key to developing a resilient and resourceful work environment. Laboratory automation allows me to bring new solutions to the table, build methods to fix those annoying parts of our work that we thought could never change, and constantly learn new things from my colleagues in the process.I currently serve on the Board for the NYC Chapter of the Laboratory Robotics Interest Group and have a profound interest in Space travel.
