Hello! I'm Tessa (she/her) and I am the Director of Marketing for the French cookware brand, Emile Henry, & the French artisan ceramics brand Jars Céramistes, in the US.Previously, I was Director of Marketing & eCommerce for the women’s apparel brand, LYSSÉ NEW YORK where my primary responsibilities were;-Management of our annual marketing budget-Management of Shopify+ website Lyssé.com-eCommerce growth strategy & development-On-site SEO optimization strategies-Strategic testing of on-site changes using Google Optimize-Strategic & deep analysis of consumer shopping behavior and revenue channel performance using Google Analytics-Management of Lyssé.com customer service -eCommerce inventory forecasting & buying -New customer acquisition strategy-Affiliate marketing strategy-Social Media & influencer marketing strategy-On-site creative asset strategy & implementation-Marketing eMail copy & execution-Customer retention initiatives-Board meeting reporting on digital ad spend & ROA, & all digital marketing initiativesI hold a Bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University where I majored in Apparel Merchandising & Design. I began my Graduate studies at the Paris American Academy in Paris, France, studying the Business & Design of European Fashion.I started my career in eCommerce at Kohl's in 2014 as an eCommerce Merchant Intern for Kohls.com, and was offered a full-time position as an eCommerce Merchandise Analyst in 2015.As an eCommerce Analyst for Kohls.com, my main responsibilities were;-Inventory management-Sales, inventory, & fashion trend analysis-Working parallel to the buyer, planner, & assistant buyer in co-developing merchant, planning, & key item strategies-Cross functional partnership-Creating in-depth business reports and recaps for leadershipIn my position, I was able to work very closely with other areas of the business such as; product development, item production, marketing & design, logistics, and more. This additional work experience gives me a competitive edge in the industry.These experiences show a lot about my leadership capabilities, job competency, and education, I also learn extremely quickly, work very hard, and have an absolute passion for my interests that constantly motivates me to work harder, and perform better. I am a responsible, organized, creative, detail oriented, and dedicated individual with a strong passion for fashion, women in business leadership, & fostering positive company culture.
