Directed the public relations team to create, for the first time, internal and external communications to support the organization’s unique charitable giving programs. I volunteered time to craft, and oversee the development of executive communications, mission statement, new website, branded collateral and messaging. I also managed media relations, issues management and member engagement. The communications efforts developed a cohesive story that resulted in new memberships and funding.

Alongside three other interns, I also developed and presented a full integrated PR campaign that was later pitched to clients.

SIFE is a global non-profit and community of student, academic and business leaders committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to transform lives. I led our local branch of 100 students through a time of change and uncertainty all while maintaining a positive business attitude, which transferred to the entire group. I oversaw the team’s portfolio of more than seven local and national projects that promoted free enterprise. The projects were developed for competition, where we placed at a national level.
