As a senior public prosecutor at the National Prosecutors’ Office for serious fraud, environmental crime and illicit financial flows (Functioneel Parket), I am leading criminal investigations into cross-border corruption, money laundering schemes and violations of international sanctions.

As a visiting fellow, I conduct research into the obstacles and chances for international cooperation in criminal matters to gather intelligence and evidence in relation to cross-border criminal financial flows.

The rule of law is important to every Dutch judge and public prosecutor. That is why the Dutch Association for the Judiciary (NVvR) actively participates in meetings of the international associations of judges and public prosecutors. In this way, the association actively contributes to the development of the rule of law in the Netherlands and abroad.
