I began my Army career 2 days after high school graduation when I boarded a bus on a street corner in Newark NJ headed for Fort Dix and basic training. After basic I spent 4 years in the Reserve while completing college. After college I went full time Army - Fort Gordon, Rheinberg, SHAPE, Belgium with various and select training during those years. My last assignment was Company Commander. I really enjoyed my military training and most of the people I met but I knew I was never a 'lifer'. I highly recommend a career in the military or just a couple of years to provide a strong foundation for life.
