G'day, my name is Tess, founder + designer at Digital Moves.I like to think of myself as a bit of a misfit of good design and code, thriving in the company of enthusiastic solopreneurs, small biz legends and creative individuals in the service-based industry. Insight-led, creativity motivated and I make a mean espresso martini – I support small businesses flourish and disrupt on the world wide web through cool websites and digital products.I've had a pretty eclectic career, from jewellery making to co-ordinating, designing and (literally) building retail shop windows for some Aussie fashion brands. Retail management, visual merchandising to Clinical Pilates education. I've never conformed well to the 9-5 and as most business owners would understand, have landed a 24/7 role. I say that with absolute pride, because I wouldn't have it any other way.In its purest form, I started building websites because I needed to build my own when shifting my Pilates career digitally in 2020. I got an absolute kick on designing and developing my website that I went on to do further education a.k.a I made coding my bitch. You could say it's the digital version of building, so I felt a strong sense of empowerment when an outlet like web design and development matched my skill set I'd built over the years.Since 2021, I've become a Squarespace Circle Member and Expert – My goal is to support service-based businesses with the opportunity to become bigger and braver through desirable design, strategic vision and expert execution of websites and digital products that businesses can manage themselves.
