In this role, I was responsible for the communication concerning archaeology. I organised events, provided new content for the website, took care of social media, managed the mailbox and constructed the newsletter. Teamwork was important in this job; I worked together closely with my colleagues all the time. Next to this, I also worked on some personal projects:- writing an article about public archaeology in West Frisia for magazine SCHATRIJK- designing posters to be printed for a heritage debate- writing example projects about public archaeology for the website (see the links below)

Utrecht

As a heritage intern, I worked with the ceramic finds of the in 2006 excavated Ledig Erf (Utrecht, the Netherlands). The finds dated from the High Middle Ages to the modern day, and included two cesspits.I designed a database; registered, dated and classified the finds using the Deventer Systeem, photographed and drew a selection of the finds in Adobe Illustrator, and wrote a specialist report based on my findings.Unpublished report: "Het aardewerk van het Ledig Erf te Utrecht" (2019)

As a side job next to my studies, I wrote articles about Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) games for the website MMO Bro. In addition to this, I wrote my own gaming blog Ravalation, and was a guest author for the art blog iRez, exploring virtual identity. All articles were written in English.

As a side job next to my studies, I translated the Ipad application "TreeId" from English to Dutch. For this project, my knowledge of botanical terminology came in handy.
