* Lead Developer and Architect for TekSavvy's IPTV project. I have taken over the project that started 1 year ago. The project involves the development of many backend modules, and the integration of a configuration UI to manage it. I am working closely with our partners to integrate the DRM and STB Hardware and UI Software.* Lead Developer ASP.NET CORE Web APIs connecting to WCF services to provide data to IPTV web applications.* Lead Developer of an SSO solution for all TekSavvy applications using IdentityServer 4.0. The project was driven by a requirement from a partner working on the IPTV, SeaChange, which develops the player application to view TV on tablets, PCs and phones and requires a SSO solution to access our APIs which provide the necessary information to play TV content on all devices.

* Lead developer / architect of a modular software using Prism. The initial module adds ultrasound clinical forms to help clinic technicians enter required patient data. Because of its modular nature, the clinical forms can easily be replaced by other modules.* Lead developer for 2 ASP.NET Core Web APIs projects. The purpose was to see how we could leverage our current C# technologies and make use of Microsoft’s newest Framework and compare it against Node.JS and evaluate the gains.* Coordinated the efforts of our team in the delivery of the next generation of Neuron tools, keeping tracking of issues and see that each member received the help they needed to achieve their objectives.* Lead IT Specialist in the migration and replacement of the VSS & SVN Source Control Systems and move to TFS. * Investigate new technologies and see how they could be used to enhance the current line of products and improvement the overall team efficiency.

* Refactoring a major flaw in the code where Dependency Injection was used inappropriately. The container was passed to many objects as opposed to only the interfaces they needed..* Designed and implemented a standard API to access CouchDb. This allowed to standardize the objects that were pushed by various other applications and made them shareable throughout projects. * Code refactoring where needed to improve performance, enhance code reusability and separate concerns where needed to make the code more maintainable and easier to understand.

* Accelerated the processing time after a system startup which could take up to 3 seconds before rendering solutions which caused initial production loss. Following some code optimization, the initial processing time went down by 50% which resolved the initial production loss after a system startup.* Reduced loading type for the “Wood Cutter Optimizer” from up to 2 minutes to go down by as much as 50 seconds.* Responsible for the design, development and testing of the Optimizer's Split & Shakes defects processing unit. Split and Shakes are imperfections detected by the advanced camera / laser scanners. This feature allows customers to process old wood that would be otherwise be eliminated and result in extreme losses.* As a technological advisor, I took part in a committee to reshape Autolog's web page. * Responsible to integrate unit tests for the Wood Cutter Optimizer which helps minimize the introduction of bugs into the system.

* Lead developer for FXOMS, a currency Order Management System. Principle task was to improve stability and modernize the application.* Replace an ageing system to send trades to FXOMS which used emails and excel sheets by a client application communicating with a Web Service.* Helped in the development of APOG, an application used for the analysis of profits and losses of portfolios which resulted in delivering the application on time.* Analyze bug reports and new features requests and provide detailed solutions.

While at CAE, I have worked for various departments in various roles. To name a few, Datalink Systems, A320 / B737 Deployment Group, Integrated Learning Services and Marine Control Systems. Most notable achievements : * Tech. Lead and Senior Developer for the MFTD project (Maintenance Flight Training Device). Responsible for the design and architecture of CAE’s next generation MFTD allowing pilots and maintenance crews to train stations at much lower cost compared to Full Flight Simulators. I supervised the work of 2 developers on the project and coordinated the efforts between various groups involved in the project.* As a “shared resource” at CAE, I helped various groups within CAE to get up to speed with their projects. With very little time to adapt I had to jump right in the team and understand their systems quickly and solve the problems at hand.* Joined the A320 / B737 Deployment Group as a Systems Integrator. My tasks included the preparation and setup of Avionic Systems for the A320 and B737 full flight simulators going through test procedures and solving issues before being shipped to clients.
