Strategic Business Partner with Store Manager to ensure all HR functions are executed properly to include staffing, personnel files, driving business metrics and company branding

Responsible for assessing needs and moderating training classes for 1800 associates in twelve stores in the district. Classes included New Hire Orientation, Operations classes for Supervisors, Selling and Coaching classes for sales and specialist associates. Other positions worked while with the company include Department Supervisor of bookkeeping where duties included all balancing of cash tills and safe, research to determine overages and shortages; collections of non-sufficient checks, reviewing monthly P&L statements to verify charges applied to the store. Front End Supervisor where I directly managed a staff of 25 cashiers. Duties included training, preparing and administering reviews, scheduling staff and customer relations.

Working with business clients to prepare taxes, payroll and IRS reviews. Input of ledger accounts and balancing of checkbooks and other accounting duties. Used various computer accounting software.

Assistant Vice President of Bankcard Operations. Managed a staff of 80 employees. Prepared the annual budged of $4 million for accounting, collections and authorization departments. Directly interview, hired, evaluated and terminated employees as necessary to achieve production goal set forth by executive management. Main achievements included implementing and conversion to on-line automated collection system to improve efficiency.
