I work with undergraduate business students (majors include: Accounting, Finance, Marketing and Management) to help on career development skills on everything from networking strategies to resume and cover letter build-outs to providing guidance on exploring majors and careers. I problem-solve with students to address potential barriers to career goals, which includes making appropriate referrals to on-campus resources and services. I help build partnerships and relationships with employers in workforce development and assist them with recruitment strategies. I lead interactive workshops and career coaching sessions for students covering topics such as job search strategies, resume development and interviewing techniques.

I was selected to co-create and execute the first true career class at Providence College to better serve the needs of over 150 finance majors, which is one of the largest majors at the College. I designed and produced career exploration assignments with objectives that were strategically aligned with student needs. I successfully taught the course for two semesters to over 120 finance students. In addition, I created a library of over twenty informational interviews and Q&A sessions across many finance careers.

In this position, I strategized and executed press opportunities across broadcast, print and online for publishing house Time Inc.’s flagship titles including Sports Illustrated, The Drive, FOOD & WINE, Travel + Leisure, Coastal Living and Departures. I worked closely with edit, social media and multimedia teams to maximize brand exposure on content opportunities and developed proprietary internal communications strategies to help push brands into the consumer space. I collaborated with producers and journalists within top tier national outlets as well as regional publications to secure TV and radio bookings of editors. I organized and secured press attendance and coverage at VIP events across Time Inc. titles for large franchises including Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen, Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year, FOOD & WINE's Best New Chefs, and more.

I managed the Public Relations department for a startup military inspired retail company to gain brand awareness in the regional and national markets. I pitched content to the media to gain exposure for the following areas; national brand launches, cause marketing programs, special projects, product pitches, regional and national advertising campaigns and new store openings. I collaborated with the marketing team to implement influencer blogger programs in order to collaborate and form partnerships to maximize brand exposure and drive sales as well as generating post analysis reports on campaign success. I managed all external press requests and work closely with editors, bloggers, stylists and news contacts to secure inclusion in feature articles and stories. In this position, I worked with the CEO to prioritize, select and manage his speaking engagements, networking presentations and schedule. I also facilitated creative direction to graphic designers for all advertising related inquires including digital ads, feature articles, billboards and in-store signage.

Through my position on the Marketing & Events team at Alex & Ani, I executed and coordinated all marketing and branding materials for sponsorships and events. I collaborated with the Events and Creative Marketing teams to ensure that all branding was consistent and cohesive with Alex and Ani marketing collateral through Boston sports team sponsorships including; The Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and The Boston Bruins. I helped plan, coordinate and execute all details of each Alex and Ani corporate retail store grand opening, in my respective region. I maintained a comprehensive weekly budget report that tracked all expenses, revenue and sponsorship fees for all 40 retail markets. I developed new promotions, incentives and advertising strategies at Alex and Ani sponsored events
to capitalize the brand awareness. I was the marketing lead liaison for Affinity and Charity Departments to help the teams with sponsorship and event coordination. I worked with the Merchandising team to style and attend all sponsored fashion shows and editorial photo shoots for the Creative team. As the marketing lead, I managed all on-site hospitality lounge events as Brand Ambassador within respected region to ensure consistent brand cohesion. Events included; Boston Calling Music Festival, Newport Folk Festivals, Sweet Life Music Festival and Firefly Music Festival.
