I am thrilled to lead our team as we optimize and standardize our critical accounting processes to scale the business for future growth; advise on the technical and general accounting, internal controls, and disclosure implications of strategic business decisions; and focus on our capital allocation priorities driving shareholder value.Previously, I've served as the CAO of Delta Apparel, Inc. where I led the accounting and finance organization, which included managing all financial reporting processes and controls, ESG reporting, financial planning and analysis, shared services, treasury, income taxes, internal audit, and investor relations.During my public accounting tenure at EY, I helped my clients successfully complete numerous public offerings, significant acquisitions, and strategic divestitures. I am proud to have provided my clients with consultations on technical accounting guidance in complex areas, such as business combinations, goodwill and intangible assets, restructuring, and income taxes. With 20 years experience serving multinational manufacturing companies and clients, I've had the opportunity to work with a number of public and private companies, both domestically and internationally, in the Fortune 500 and Forbes Largest Private Companies List.
