SHIFTA is the Online School for Digital Creators created by Elisava, the University School of Design and Engineering of Barcelona.Elisava is a center attached to the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), one of the most prestigious universities in Barcelona and Europe. It offers undergraduate, Master's and Postgraduate degrees and specialized courses in the fields of design, engineering and communication.

Elisava is one of Barcelonas best known Graphic Design Schools. It is a branch of the University of Pompeu Fabra. The Master in Graphic Design consists of two postgraduates, one in Editorial Design and the other in Applied Graphic Design. The Academic Director of the Master is Ramon Prat.I was in charge of coordinating the Master Degree (together with Rein Steger, Thais Caballero) and teaching about digital design matters reaching from internet, ebooks, iphone apps or interface concepts to on-screen typography, color, aesthetics and design concepts.I am currently teaching about data visualisation and representation of visual systems.

During 3 years i held different classes about Audiovisual Media, Videoprojections and Digital Design before working as a coordinator for the Master Degree in Graphic Design (actual).

Teaching immigrant women the fundamentals of graphic design and UX/UI principles, creating an inclusive learning environment to foster creativity and skill development. My responsibilities include developing and delivering engaging curriculum, conducting interactive workshops, and providing personalized mentorship. This role has enabled me to successfully teach over 15 women, enhance their design skills, and help them build portfolios for career opportunities.

Testphase – Media Distortion Consortium is a collective from Barcelona, founded and directed by me. Our work is the steady search of aesthetic, algorhytmic and semantic connection of music and video/animation.As Testphase we’re working since more than eight years in the field of VJing and presented our work in Clubs and Festivals all over Europe (CLUB TRANSMEDIALE Berlin, SONAR Barcelona, OBSERVATORI Valencia, FUTURESOIC Manchester, ...). We’re also in charge for the artistic direction as well as working as jury-members for several audiovisual and video festivals.Testphase also realizes collaborations with different design studios, musicians like Dub Taylor/Tigerskin, ARBOL/Miguel Marin (EmiliRecords), EmpYAh and the singer IRIS (Monica Enterprises). Disseny Hub Barcelona is the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona’s centre for promoting knowledge, understanding and proper use of the design world. A space billed to go beyond the scope of a museum or institution which aims to advance all facets of this discipline. It is all of this and much more.I am currently art directing the audiovisual communication of DHUB.

ActarBirkhäuser is a leading international architecture, design & art book publisher based in Barcelona, Zürich, Berlin and New York.

I worked for several years as a Professor for History of Audiovisual Media, Videoprojections, Flash and Web Projects and Coorporate Identity.
