The aim of Beyond South America is to provide a helping hand for interns and volunteers from all parts of the world and to help them find a suitable internship or volunteer workplace at local organizations, in a way that contributes to sustainability.Beyond South America is part of the Casa de la Alegría foundation, together with Juntucha (Spanish language school). Casa de la Alegría is a foundation that helps to support traumatized children and young people in Bolivia to come out (and stay out) of vicious circles of violence. All income from Beyond South America (and Juntucha) is acquired with the aim of supporting Casa de la Alegría, and making it more financially independent.
