I serve as the English Language Arts Coordinator for my team at Dr. George Washington Carver Academy of Mathematics and Science. I am responsible for engaging in whole class support, directly coaching/tutoring 14 scholars in attendance, behavior, and course work in English and math, and helping improve Carver Academy's cultural and academic standing. I also assist my partner teacher in every way possible in our 6th grade classroom, in order to facilitate our scholar's learning and personal growth.Every few months, we have participated in service days, such as Global Youth Service Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and Make A Difference Day.
