I work for the Osaka Prefectural Government on the project at aiming at realizing a Global Financial City.To realize this,Osaka Prefecture and Osaka City have developed a strategy together with the Kansai business communities,financial institutions,university ,support organizations and others in 2022,and are working on various projects.Our vision is to use the power of finance to accelerate Osaka’s industries and the ambitious projects currently underway in Osaka,to grow the Osaka/Kansai economy and to contribute to solving social issues worldwide.The project is a long-term initiative with 2050 at the target year.We are first attracting financial and related companies,including fintech companies,from Japan and abroad,as well as funds to build the foundations of a Global Financial City by 2025 when the World Expo will be held.
