- Served as Resident Engineer for multiple TSF construction projects within Ghana and West Africa, with responsibilities that included monitoring construction activities to confirm that construction is carried out safely and on schedule while satisfying the design intent and in accordance with the design and construction technical specifications. - Carried out technical supervision, quality control and quality assurance of TSF construction works by the interpretation of construction drawings and technical specifications in advance of works, and the preparation and issuance of periodic construction progress reports and as-built construction reports. - Management of on-site soils laboratory for TSF construction projects and the supervision of field tests, including the identification, sampling and testing of construction materials for incorporation into various fill zones and for compliance with design and construction technical specifications. - Supervision of geotechnical site investigation projects, sampling and logging of material, coordination of laboratory tests and preparation of factual reports.- Liaising with contractors, subcontractors and clients for the advancement of construction works and to achieve design intent. - Assisted with carrying out stability analyses of proposed earth-fill embankments and the evaluation of existing earth-fill embankments for TSFs earmarked for closure, using Slope/W.- Carried out civil design and modelling of earth-fill embankments, spillways and stormwater channels, and the produced engineering drawings using AutoCAD/Civil 3D and HydroCAD.
