As a Chartered Accountant and a PFM Expert, I have been working as an FMIS Specialist at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development (MFED) of Kiribati since Oct 2023. I have over 20 years of experience in public financial management, budget process, and system design and management, across various government and regional organisations in the Pacific.My current role involves providing essential advice and assistance to the Kiribati Government in aligning the budget and planning processes with the Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS), conducting training and coordination for the MFED and other ministries, and ensuring the IFMIS meets the reporting and analysis needs of the stakeholders. I am passionate about improving the efficiency and effectiveness of PFM processes and systems, and empowering the Kiribati Government to achieve its strategic goals and objectives.
