As pragmatic Embedded Software Consultant I aim at 'tailor-made'​ software. When comparing e.g. software creation in a CMM3 environment to the creation of a one-off technology demonstrator the software-needs are quite different and need to be well-understood to keep within budget. I have performed in different roles in projects a.o. embedded software/system designer/architect, QA officer, team leader, Senior software designer etc. Always with a keen eye on the tailoring.Last few years I have strengthened my C# proficiency, as embedded systems tend to be supplemented by higher level (.Net Core based) systems nowadays. IoT, OPC UA etc. yield data in bulk to be analysed/used in systems that support higher level programming languages.Being proficient in both the embedded world as in 'everything on top of that' makes me keep the overview needed in my role in the projects I run.Being selfemployed makes me more aware of the risks and business of my clients and hence I have the urge 'to get things done'​, and to get them done right.The ability to 'dive in deep' to find system bugs and the agility in my work both stem from my eagerness to learn new things.
