Since 1 September 2011, I have been a Professor of Applied Sciences ( specialization: Corporate Sustainability) at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences in Apeldoorn. This involves teaching mostly master modules and setting up applied research; I have also been engaged in writing, supervision of research and course development. As of 1 September 2021, I have ended my formal contract with Wittenborg University and so have become an emeritus. Nonetheless, I will continue doing research and will operate as an independent external marker for the school.I remain also engaged in education as a supervisor and marker for NTI University of Applied Sciences.Moreover, starting in 2024, I have become active in local politics (board of GroenLinks-PvdA at Apeldoorn) and chairman of the board of my Association of Flat Owners. Furthermore, I have joined my local Church's Green Church working group. My special interests include corporate sustainability, innovation processes, sustainability, sustainable cities and (theological) anthropology of climate change.
