- As a team lead, conducted hundreds of inspections of South Carolina licensed nursing homes, residential care facilities, intermediate care facilities, and residential treatment facilities in the 48 counties of the state.-Conduct and oversee compliance audits of staff, patient, and medication administration records.- Compile reports documenting inspection findings, to be disseminated to the public, health facilities, and department administration.- Based on inspection findings, determine the degree to which standards are carried out effectively.- Determines the frequency and scope of licensure inspections based on current Division Criteria.-Consult with local resource professionals and facility administrators, through technical assistance, in-service training, and staff development programs, in assisting licensed facilities in carrying out and complying with standards more effectively.
