Human Resources Representative
CurrentResponsible for assisting the HR Manager in the recruitment, selection and retention of qualified employees, consistent with the company’s policies and programs.Recruit, interview, and hire for exempt and nonexempt positions, in coordination with the HR Manager and the Hiring Manager. Coordinate and fill approved requests for temporary employees and interns. Post positions internally; accept job-posting applications. Develop and maintain recruitment sources, investigate references as required.Develop and conduct new employee orientation (temporary and regular), including coordination of Quality & Safety training for new hires.Update and maintain employee manual, as required. Coordinate administration of the company’s medical benefits program, following standard practices. Act as a liaison between employees and insurance companies. Assist employees in processing claims and resolving problems. Conduct benefits enrollments on a timely basis. Audit and request payment of carrier invoices. Process claims for workers compensation, unemployment, and disability.Assist in administering company wage and salary program. Coordinate preparation of performance evaluation paperwork.Coordinate the medical, life insurance and retirement plan orientation for open enrollments.Set up and maintain personnel records and files, manually and in Workday. Prepare reports as necessary.Responsible for the e-time payroll process. Coordinate with payroll department on all personnel additions, separations, and changes-in-status.Conduct exit meetings with terminating employees. Conduct exit interviews and summarize findings Monitor COBRA status.Abide by all company rules, policies and procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned.
