Operate as the primary success partner for ensuring that a cohort of Teach for America Corps Members are positioned to access what they need to impact our 10-year goal and enteralumni-hood with a clear vision for how they can continue to contribute to One Day from the matriculation phase through their two-year commitment. Lead the development of an individualized and customized support plan for each corps member, drawing on their strengths, interests, and needs to propel them toward exceptional results with their students in their classrooms. In partnership with San Antonio regional Teach for America staff, steward progress towards the 2030 goal in-region by ensuring that each participant can navigate through their ecosystem of support receiving a standardized, customized, and personalized experience.

Working with a current Fellow working group team to support working group projects,overseeing and ensuring opportunities are followed that lead to policy impact.Supporting the Fellows to develop, disseminate, and actualize their proposals for policychanges at the local level and potentially at the state level.Modeling, supporting and overseeing the advocacy and organizing work of the Fellows, includingdesigning an advocacy campaign, meeting with School Board members or providingtestimony, and spreading their message via op-eds, social media and policy briefs, withthe support of the Teach Plus national communications team.

In this role I:Guide corps members (CMs) through institute and co-create individualized learning and growth goalsInternalize content vision, student curriculum and CM outcomes and then use a sampling of institute evidence (including classroom observations, videos, conversations with CMs and staff, etc.) to make informed decisions about next steps to take with novice teachers.Build one-on-one relationships with CMs and regularly prompt reflections such that CMs are aware of their growth over time.Build and maintain strong cohort culture that creates and nurtures an effective positive group learning experience.Gather evidence from classroom observations, small group experiences, conversations with CMs and other staff, etc. to determine CM progress/areas for growth and aligned proper supports.Summarize and communicate trends to your School Director, Content Specialist and other partner teams where/when needed.Engage in data and learning structures to manage towards outcomes and to support our work to learn continuously.
