For over 14 years, I have worked extensively in the fields of education, curriculum development, pastoral care and student wellbeing, sports administration, sports science and athlete development to lead and enhance a variety of successful year levels, departments, sports academies and innovative high-performance programs. As a two-time ACHPER award winning Health and Physical Education Teacher (2020 and 2021), with experience in lead teaching VCE 1/2 and 3/4 Health & Human Development and Physical Education subjects, I bring a high level of contemporary, progressive and evidence-based practice to teams I work with, so that I can have an impact on the students I teach. I currently work at Sacré Coeur, a leading Independent Catholic School in Victoria, educating girls from Prep to Year 12 in the Sacred Heart tradition. My current role is the Learning Leader of Health & Physical Education. In my previous role as the Director of GPS Sports & Activities at Brisbane State High School, I oversaw the delivery of high-quality co-curricular programs for more than 1800 students across 17 sports in the prestigious GPS competition. We saw a 10% student participation growth, 12% staff coaching growth and 75% improvement in First Team results during 2023. Having held leadership roles across curriculum, wellbeing, and co-curricular departments within a school, I have acquired a unique set of capabilities and a strong understanding of all facets of how a high-performing school operates and I can confidently leverage these strengths and experiences in my interactions with students, parents, teachers and the communities I work in.Beyond the educational setting, I have worked for over a decade to develop young athletes in professional sporting organisations, such as Melbourne Storm RLFC, Brisbane Roar FC, Queensland Academy of Sport, Football Federation Australia and Touch Football Australia that all exhibit respect, integrity and excellence in their culture and values.
