This role included overseeing a team of marketing coordinators and working with our business development managers to provide seamless execution of services. I also coordinated our survey submissions. Additionally, I’ve been called upon assist with business development and marketing initiatives for our Products Liability and Commercial Litigation practices.

Responsible for providing innovative ideas and tools to add value to the client relationship and business development initiatives. Assisted in the development and administration of a client feedback program. Current initiatives include legal project management along with a rollout and implementation of an employee recognition program.

Oversaw the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for the firm. Created and maintained tracking mechanisms for the RFP process. Final review of pitches and responses to RFPs that were put together by other marketing managers. Established a depository of standardized RFP responses and commonly requested information. Oversaw multi-practice RFP responses from start to finish including: creation of project plan, coordination with Practice Development Managers, preparation of draft responses for attorney review, coordinating the revision process and ensuring timely delivery of response. Performed business research and competitive intelligence on targets to support the RFP/pitch.

In charge of fulfilling the business development needs of the national Intellectual Property Practice. Development of practice groups’ business plans along with cross marketing opportunities. Budget analysis responsibilities. Identified potential new clients and strategies to approach them. Assisted in researching and identifying of placement opportunities in various publications, trade shows, and conferences for increasing the practice group’s exposure and lead generations. Coordinated various events including breakfast briefings, large client receptions, trade show sponsorships, webinars, seminars, and client appreciation events. Supervised development of the practice groups’ marketing materials, including website communications.

Managed a portfolio of 40 plus clients totaling $900,000 in annual spend for an international market research firm specializing in consumer and competitive research in the CPG industry. Negotiated contract terms with C-level company executives including multi-year contracts. Conducted product training through small and large group presentations. Successfully exceeded portfolio growth target of 10% each quarter. Worked closely with clients on their new product development strategies. Analyzed current client portfolio and identified most profitable sales opportunities (i.e. added value services or additional products). Facilitated “ideation sessions” to help clients utilize product intelligence tools to develop new products to bring to market. Participated in various training programs: Sales, Presentation, and Negotiation.
