Currently this solution is live in 50+ customers in AP & MEA.

Israel & Palestine

Mastercard has launched a program to have employees volunteer their skills and expertise with Mercy Corps, a leading international NGO that helps communities survive and thrive after crisis. My project was based in Israel, Palestine, and Gaza, helping Palestinian entrepreneurs and freelancers gain access to relevant payment solutions to contribute to their financial inclusion.- Three months project required visiting Israel & Palestine and work remotely pre and post onsite visit. - Met/skype interviewed freelancers, lawyers, regulators, startup incubators, bankers in Palestine, US Consulate in Jerusalem, VC’s, IT association heads, Invest Fund managers to understand the problem statement in detail.- Prepared a detailed report & recommended most cost efficient, compliant international cross border payment solution, financial education alternatives that suits the need of freelancers and Startup in Palestine
