About Troy Forster

With more than 20 years experience working across a diverse range of industries I have made a name for myself as a creative and very much "out-of-the-box" solution provider. My passion for problem solving with software has led me to the role of Technology Director where I lead my team, my employer and our clients to success in business-critical challenges.By deliberately choosing different verticals with each career change I have amassed an in-depth understanding across a broad collection of practices including engineering, public relations, legal, government, telecommunications, finance and most recently advertising and marketing. This along with a ferocious appetite to push the leading edge has allowed me to work with such luminaries as Apple, Corus Entertainment, GlaxoSmithKline, KPMG, Nissan, Petro-Canada, Rogers, Scotiabank, United Nations International Labour Office, Visa and many more.I am a hands-on Technology Director that leads by example. Not all projects can be staffed with the plethora of roles required and I am often counted on to provide some combination of architecture (application, database, enterprise and information), user experience direction, research and development and prototyping of hardware/software. My ability to translate highly technical concepts into easily understood language means that I am frequently involved in client pitches, keynote speeches, corporate blogging and documentation.
