As a volunteer freelance web developer, I designed and developed a profile website for an author with smooth usability and responsiveness in mind.

I created and revised the lesson plans, materials, and curricula for a variety of classes, including English Conversation classes for Junior High School (JHS) 2nd and High School (HS) 2nd grade, a writing class for advanced students in HS 1st grade, a special Immersion class which teaches math and science to a specialized Super Global Class in HS 2nd grade, and advanced English classes for near-fluent English speakers in HS 2nd grade focusing on essay writing and applying to colleges abroad.I conducted lessons for all of the above classes as well as English Conversation classes in JHS 1st grade and 3rd grade. I tutored and prepared students for various presentations and tests, including the Eiken, TOEFL, and SAT. I wrote and designed English test questions for our school’s Entrance Exams as well as recorded my voice for the conversations and dialogues.I trained and helped manage a team of seven other English teachers, including providing training sessions on Information and Communications Technology (ICT), iPads, Google Suite, and Loilonote. I gave guidance to new English teachers on designing effective lesson plans, materials, and curricula as well as teaching in the classroom. I acted as a translator and liaison between Japanese faculty and other Native teachers. I promoted the English program through information sessions and demo lessons to parents and prospective students in both English and Japanese. I created an edited videos, presentations, and lesson materials that were shown during these sessions.

I planned, created, and conducted English lessons for all elementary grades. I regularly met with Japanese homeroom teachers and communicated in both Japanese and English.

I Learned how to edit a full manuscript, write a professional summary, find appropriate peer reviewers, and update various websites and databases for marketing publications.
