Nuffield 2016 Trehane Trust ScholarI currently provide a range of technical products and services to farmers and rural business in West Wales although most of my work relates to the dairy industry.In the UK, we supply and maintain milking, control and IT equipment for dairy farms whose herd size varies from 60 to over 2300 milking.I have developed and consulted on number of products sold to British farmers & work with manufacturers in France, Germany, America and China. I have also worked on a small number of research projects in the UK and the Netherlands concerning cow temperature, activity and rumination.I have a particular aptitude for resolving electronic problems on farms and have done so for clients in the UK,Germany, USA, Saudi Arabia and Iran. I have also resolved software issues on sites in the UK, mainland Europe, the USA and New Zealand.I provide a consultancy service to VES Environmental Solutions, LLC (VES), a US based firm who specialise in ventilation and lighting; in this capacity I have worked on projects on every continent farming livestock
