Test Engineer III January 2007 – Present Perform scheduled testing duties and practice safe laboratory methods on a daily basis Conduct package and product testing procedures in compliance with industry standard test protocols Conduct package and product test procedures in accordance with client specifications  Conduct environmental testing using programmable environmental chambers Perform monitored vibration, mechanical shock, and drop tests Closely observe, document, and examine testing in order to better inform customers of the results, conclusions, and recommendations of the testing Record, collect, and organize all necessary documentation for each test conducted Design and build custom test fixtures for mechanical testing Design and build test fixtures for reliability testing using pneumatic actuators and PLC controls. Work closely with clients to brainstorm, develop, manufacture, and incorporate new methods and test fixtures/equipment for product testing Maintain an organized and detailed log of specialized test protocols, data collection forms, and test methods Write detailed test reports to provide test results to customers. Review reports generated by test engineers to uphold the quality and content of reports Perform preventative maintenance on lab equipment including: environmental chambers, hydraulic and electrodynamic shakers, air compressors Conduct training sessions to share knowledge of fixturing with co-workers Received Westpak’s 2013 trainer of the year award Received multiple acknowledgements for leadership and excellence in the workplace
