I lead technology for this startup non profit. We provide leadership training, mentorship, and some grants to frist-in-family college students from under served communities around the world. * In 2022 we worked with 16,000 applicants, * in 2023 we worked with 51,000 applicants* in 2024 we are worked with 111,000 applicants.* right now we are gearing up to work with 250,000 applicants in 2025.* and 1/2 Million in 2026!In my role I'm providing leadership in 4 areas.- Creating automated decision support solutions that allow our small staff to manage 440,000 applications an program assessments from 350,000 applicants, and these numbers double annually.- Design a community first, program delivery model that allows 10s of thousands of program participants to interact directly with one another in real time form 180 countries around the world.- Creation of next generation technology to support current programs and put Aspire Institute in a great position to double our applicant and participant count annually through 2027 where we expect to support 1,000,000 applicants and 390,000 active participants each year.- Support of Office and Staff technology Infrastructure

During my tenure at BAM, I've managed hundreds of technology projects in a timely and cost-effective manner. I've been, Project Manager, Scrum Product Owner / Business Analyst for Tessitura and related systems. Throughout this period I've translated internal and external constituents' needs into useful technological solutions.Broadened Business Intelligence capabilities looking for better ways to help staff from around the organization and from all levels make better decisions based on the information.We focused on simplifying and standardizing our business processes and dropping the use of 50 of 150 custom reports, in favor of more standard processes Self Service options. This approach saved us significant time and will pay an ongoing dividend of reduced maintenance cost.During the 2011-2012 season, we implemented T-Stats, the RMA as well as created some custom tools that we are currently using to evaluate ticket sales as part of our dynamic pricing initiative. These tools have helped management and our marketing department earn an additional ~$750,000 of incremental revenue during the first season of use.As Tessitura Administrator I provide individualized and group training, and consultations regarding the use of Tessitura related serves like T-Stats, RMA, N-Scan, WordFly. I am BAM's primary contact with these software providers. I'm responsible for the Tessitura related budget.In partnership with the HR departments, we completed the replacement of a 9-year-old Intranet web site (BAMnet). After extensive internal consultation, and product evaluation we made an adventurous choice to use Yammer (an Enterprise Social Network (ESN)) as our new intranet site. After extensive staff training and coaching more than 80% of staff use the site to communicate about a large variety of business and staff community issues.

Repaired production web site that was not delivering reliable service to paying customers. Through a detailed analysis of client support records, system logs, direct testing, and working with software vendors, discovered and repaired several configuration issues. These changes increased system reliability when running problem transactions. Before making these changes the problem transactions worked approximately 80% of the time, after these changes these transactions worked consistently. In my final year we delivered more than 750,000 software deployments.Negotiated funding; recruited and guided team, which in four months integrated the 3500+ desktop workstations of DuPont Pharmaceuticals into Bristol Myers Squibb. On the first day of this merger this cross divisional, cross company team successfully integrated the networks of these two organizations, and implemented web based services that allowed communication with 3000 new staff. Supplemented existing computer staff with 50+ 3rd party contractors who quickly consolidate acquired servers and workstations into the existing infrastructure. Transitioned computer account administration, and telephone support services to in-house systems and processes.Designed and implemented numerous data driven web sites including: “DESweb” (an early agile styled electronic white board for iterative project management), “SurveyBuilder”, “cc:WebMail”.Built automated tools to monitor Service Level Agreements ( SLA ) of outsourced Internet and Intranet services.
