As a Public Health Preparedness Coordinator, I assist the local health departments within my assigned district with executing state and federal grant requirements, training, budget preparation and execution of their public health preparedness programs. If a public health threat emerges in a county, I coordinate assistance from the Indiana State Department.

I am responsible for working with the health departments within Indiana's 3rd district in order to update and assess their preparedness plans. These plans address the Public Health and Emergency Response division of the Indiana State Department of Health's guidelines along with those of the CDC.

I traveled to company locations throughout the country assisting them with updating their Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Plans and performing training on how to implement the plan utilizing documentation reviews and table-top exercises. I also performed software training with new users of the company’s plan development tool.

I performed general administrative duties as a member of the Centurion Disaster Recovery division of Jack Henry & Associates and was the site coordinator of the Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Plan for the Angola location of Jack Henry.

I assisted the Centurion Disaster Recovery’s division of Jack Henry in creating marketing tools for their products and services, support for the field sales team, and creation of statements of work and contracts. I also was the site coordinator of the Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Plan for the Angola location of Jack Henry.

I traveled throughout the country assisting financial institutions with developing their Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Plans and performing training on how to implement the plan utilizing documentation reviews and table-top exercises. I also performed software training with the financial institution’s staff in order to maintain their plan after.
