Founded in 2007, Opower was backed by Kleiner Perkins, NEA and Accel Partners, growing to manage over one trillion energy instances for 100 clients on 4 continents.In charge of G&A (including HR, Recruiting, IT, Ops and Legal). Set up 6 foreign entities, including offshore development in Ukraine. Took company through a $1B successful IPO in April 2014, pricing at the top of the range, in one of the toughest markets since 2008. Based on the company's position as the undisputed software leader in the utilities market, was responsible for the sale to Oracle at a 50% premium to market.

Public cloud-based enterprise software company in the event-management space and the market leader in Event Management Technology. Responsible for Finance, Legal, HR and Strategy functions. Took company from zero in revenue, through two recessions, to profitability, 800 employees and market dominance. Managed investor relations, debt and equity rounds, including in 2011, the largest financing ($136M) of a private software company since 2007. Funded by NEA and Insight Ventures.

Corporate governance for 100% owned Indian subsidiary, established to utilize a global workforce increasingly engaged in time based competition. Set up legal structure and interfaced with Indian authorities to establish the foreign owned entity, taking advantage of beneficial tax structures. Remained closely engaged in day to day management since inception.
