Senior Manager: Ict Infrastructure Management
Current• Develop, implement and monitor achievement of an effective business plan and budget for the ICT • Manage, coordinate and oversee daily support & operational activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of ICT• Review and provide input into the ICT’s architecture plan, to ensure alignment with business needs and changes• Manage acquisition, provision, extraction and retirement of ICT infrastructure• Ensuring that a stable IT infrastructure environment is maintained• Managing incidents and that they are logged and resolved through the helpdesk• Support problem and incident management processes• Manage and plan data centre and related applications• Manage and plan for business continuity• Ensure compliance with set ICT service standards and service level agreements• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify and manage risks by developing appropriate mitigation strategies• Coordinate completion of operational risk assessments within ICT• Develop ICT strategy and operational plan• Provide input into development and optimisation of business processes• Keep abreast of changes to legislation, practice standards and norms• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports• Manage ICT projects• Develop annual budget for ICT• Manage and control the budget by monitoring and reporting on expenditure• Provide input into procurement plan and monitor adherence thereof• Develop staff performance agreements and conduct performance reviews• Identify training needs and develop personal development plans for subordinates• Manage recruitment of new employees within the ICT department• Provide guidance, coaching, mentoring and advice to subordinates• Address discipline and workplace conflict through prescribed processes• Conduct regular meetings and communications with relevant stakeholders• Present ICT activities, projects and strategy to internal and external stakeholders
