Joined a seed series B2B fintech company projecting rapid growth. Worked with the CEO and Chief of Staff to build the first channel partner framework and cultivated 25% of new customers and 150% customer pipeline expansion in first 30 days. Owned People Ops strategy and Growth infrastructure ahead of hiring the first VP of Sales and Success Lead. Significantly reduced the demo-to-close date, published collateral used to close 50+ new deals across the sales and success teams, built a first-gen CRM framework in 14 days, and created intelligence reports and business automations resulting in 55% user increase and 23% of closed won business across the team.

Transitioned to a pre-seed startup after developing private capital markets expertise at SVB and IHS Markit. As employee #1, responsibilities included building end-to-end pipelines across business development, customer experience and support, and a range of critical business operations workflows. Grew from pre-seed to seed stage and more than doubled the size and value of the company while working closely with the CEO and expanding partnerships team across key growth and strategy initiatives resulting in over 40K customers, 30+ partnerships, and moving over $10MM to nonprofits & political organizations.

Managed 60+ US-based venture capital relationships with nearly $60B AUM and advised venture back office teams on evolving trends in portfolio monitoring, reporting, and relationship management. Led expansion of our East Coast market (NYC), co-led 150% expansion of account management team, traveled up to 30% each month, developed multiple operations and cross-functional frameworks which contributed to $4MM of revenue growth, and helped team evolve when IHS Markit (S&P Global) acquired Ipreo.

Recruited by the Board to co-develop the business case for a comprehensive managed data services solution for venture capital, SVB VentureView, in partnership with Ipreo Private Capital Markets (IHS Markit). Led market research, managed multiple legal teams and over 50 stakeholder relationships, built a summer internship program from scratch, and identified & advanced M&A opportunities before Carta acquired us, namely the acquisition of AdvancedHR by Solium Capital, Inc. (now Shareworks by Morgan Stanley).

Cultivated a portfolio of relationships focused on increasing educational equity & advancement opportunities, novel research partnerships, direct and indirect defense offsets, and technology transfer agreements with entities such as: Silicon Valley Bank, The Walt Disney Company, FedEx Corporation, Raytheon Technologies, Lockheed Martin, Xerox/XeroxPARC, Intel Corporation, Zero Mass Water, State of Israel, Republic of China, The Thurgood Marshall College Fund, and Albright-Stonebridge Group.

Ran day-to-day operations for a highly technical team within ASU's Office of Knowledge Enterprise Development. Worked as chief of staff for the Vice President of Strategy and coordinated all business, research, logistical, legal, and financial projects. Entrusted with a substantial portfolio of relationships and was promoted to Director after two years in this role. Organized complex international logistics for the principal and functioned as primary point of contact for work on the Council on Foreign Relations, The Trilateral Commission, Global Offsets and Countertrade Organization, Aspen Institute, and a portfolio of global private equity firms, family offices, and hedge funds.

Served as a full-time teacher, completed an accelerated master's program, worked on my district's strategic planning committee, engaged in state & local political campaigns and organizations in Arizona, and supported my students as they broke several achievement records in our district. Balsz District Strategic Planning Committee (2013 – 2014): joined a committee tasked with studying, creating, and implementing a new district-wide model for performance pay.
