Tandeka Guilderson is the principal of Stage Two Consulting. She partners with agencies, foundations, schools, and community-based institutions and individuals to provide a clinical suite of services and programs as well as Organizational Behavior analytics, strategic planning, and leadership development. Tandeka also works as a guidance counselor at the Navajo Nation’s Thoreau High School where she also coaches basketball and teaches a class in community service.Tandeka is a proven leader and trusted consultant to high performance teams. She develops and supports organizations' strengths and adds value through dynamic programming, research, evaluation, and management. An innovator in the formulation of new strategies and projects that exceed desired goals, Tandeka has a strong commitment to organizations and projects promoting social justice. Beginning her career in higher education at Boston University, Tandeka has worked in economic development, having spent several years supporting women’s business development, entrepreneurship, and venture capital with the Center for Women & Enterprise. While leading the Boston office of CWE, Tandeka sat on the board of directors for the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council and participated in Springboard 2000. She has spent the last years focused on, and working in, community-based mental health. Tandeka did her clinical training in psychiatry at Mass General Hospital, where she also completed a post-graduate psychoanalytic fellowship. Tandeka did her graduate clinical work at Smith College and her work in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Cornell University. In what spare time she has, she enjoys gardening, a variety of participatory sports, and attempting to create art.
