Provide product and business process consulting assistance to sales team members to facilitate closing sales. Identify specific areas of prospect need and demonstrate how Concur’s applications fill those needs.Responsibilities:- Deliver product demonstrations for all applications- Prepare to deliver product demonstrations: meet with prospects to identify their requirements, research their competitive strengths and weaknesses; reconfigure application and/or database as appropriate to best address prospect issues; ensure demonstrations are free of complications and maximize the usefulness of Concur’s applications- Participate with sales team members to identify strategic approach most likely to persuade prospect to buy- Maintain thorough knowledge of Concur’s competitor’s products, company direction, financial stability, etc.; keep current with industry events, product offerings, etc.- Provide advice and guidance to other Application Sales Consultants as requested- Regularly report on progress with each prospect via phone conferences, pipeline reports, etc. - Build and maintain thorough knowledge of all Concur products, upgrades, upcoming revisions, functionality, etc.- Provide input on prospect requirements/concerns to Product Marketing teams as requested- Assist at trade shows, user conferences, etc. as requested- Interact with sales, marketing and external customers
