Serving Davis College as their Global Dean of Information Science & Technology to 1) develop a minimum viable product (MVP) for an online information technology diploma program to be launched and tested in Hong Kong in Fall 2020 and then more broadly across our global network of campuses and 2) articulate a clear, unifying mission and long-term vision for technology programs to be delivered across our global network of campuses. Based on global trends, future student assessment data and employer feedback, the Dean will conceptualize, initiate and implement new academic programs and enhancements to existing programs that are relevant across a global community of campuses.

Relationship Manager for higher education partnerships. The role of Director of University Partnerships allowed me to maintain the relationships between our organization and our university partner presidents, provosts, deans and other administrators. Our business model was a synergistic collaboration that afforded technology career opportunities to their bachelor graduates regardless of their degree major. This relationship management required conducting and participating in various in-person meetings, information sessions, webinars and career fairs for all our university partners. Helped increase the percentage of graduates hired from our university partners from 8% before I joined to 20% in my first year and was on track to increase to over 30% during the second year. Also helped increase the strategic university partnerships from 15 to 18 in my first year and was on track to add an additional three or more this year.

At Academic Partnerships I served as an operations manager overseeing multiple partnerships with public and private higher education institutions with various programs within a multitude of education sectors. This involved maintaining the day-to-day operations; acting as a liaison between internal and partner stakeholders; and strategically optimizing processes to ensure higher access to affordable online programs offered at these institutions. I was responsible for conducting routine partnership meetings to move forward the growth of said programs and launch of new ones. Some of the day-to-day operations involved the partnership website for the programs, application life cycle data feeds, analysis and reporting on ongoing projects and issue resolution; as well as training of internal stakeholders who interact with applicants and continuing students.

I oversaw the team running the inSocialWork (formerly "Living Proof") podcast series of the University at Buffalo School of Social Work. The purpose of the series is to engage practitioners and researchers in lifelong learning and to promote research to practice and practice to research. inSocialWork features conversations with prominent social work professionals, interviews with cutting-edge researchers, and information on emerging trends and best practices in the field of social work. inSocialWork is a bi-weekly podcast series. I successfully helped the school launch their Online Masters of Social Work upon receiving approval to run the online modality from the State Department of Education. This was accomplished a whole year early based on early state approval. I also was pivotal in having our Online MSW added to the suite of online programs powered by Open SUNY+ within our university system. At the peak of my time with them we had five cohorts running at the same time, three traditional part-time and two advanced standing part-time and we were awaiting approval for a Doctorate in Social Work to be fully online upon launch. With colleagues from other academic units I chaired the founding and running of our Online Learning Collaborative which had a sub-group of our Instructional Designers assisting each other’s program faculty to be prepared to teach in blended/hybrid and online modalities. I also connected from early on at UB with SUNY COIL (Center for Online International Learning) and had our school join their nodal network to help the school stay current in the changing global landscape of the profession. I was tasked by the Dean to oversee the Technology component of our school’s Strategic Plan and through this effort operationalized many processes to higher efficiency and reported on the plan regularly to the faculty council. I also oversaw the development of our expansion plan project for the Online MSW to help meet the growing demand to obtain the degree through our program. Launched the Technology in Social Work resource center which is an online curated database of technology enhancements within the social work community.

As a visiting professor, I have taught Strategic Management of Technology (NETW583) - 3 credit course and a Wireless Communication Systems (NETW589) - 3 credit course to online graduate students.

As Online Dean, I managed online full-time instructors and faculty managers for Rasmussen College. I also provided support for the online adjuncts that taught within our many schools. I trained and developed our online faculty and faculty managers to continuously improve their academic caliber in the online classroom.

As Dean of Faculty, I managed the full-time instructors in the "School of Business", "School of Education", and "School of Technology and Design" for the Rasmussen College Online campus. I also provided support for the various adjuncts that teach within those schools. As well, I collaborated with the School Directors on the current and future programs offered; and I analyzed and reported on the academic status of the campus.

As Dean, I oversaw the students, faculty and programs in the College of Engineering and Information Sciences for the Orlando Metro area of DeVry University. This extended to undergraduate and graduate students, on-ground and online. Collaborated with other Deans locally and across the country on various issues in the College.

As Dean, I oversaw the faculty who taught in all media arts and technology programs for the Orlando Metro area of DeVry University. I also assisted in helping promote the program in the area, hire new faculty, and secure new students; being new degrees at the associate and bachelor levels.

This role allowed me the opportunity to maintain the online course content of some of the Game & Simulation Programming degree classes for DeVry University Online.

As Dean, I oversaw the faculty who taught in all technology and electronics programs for the Central Florida Metro area of DeVry University. I also assisted in the further development and mainteance of said programs but most importantly I served the students in our metro.

Designed and maintained the academic networks used by faculty and students in the Central Florida Metro area campuses and centers. While serving as IT Manager of the academic network at DeVry – Orlando I collaborated with the Director of IT on preparing Capital Expense Authorizations, Strategic Plans and IT Department budgets for the entire Central Florida Metro area of DeVry University. Developed all Policies and Procedures for the Academic and Administrative networks, including Disaster Recovery Plans, based on ITIL principles. Designed the Active Directory model for the campus networks. Supervised the documentation and testing process of the various models. Deployed the Orlando Campus Academic network from the ground up, including all necessary processes, procedures and documentation. This included various servers and classrooms with PCs and laptop-ready stations. Rolled out the Laptop Lease Program for various degrees on campus. This consisted of ordering, leasing, deploying and training on the use of the laptops. Designed the expansion of the University Centers at the graduate campuses in Central Florida to be able to offer undergraduate programs. This involved WAN connectivity, new servers, computer labs, Wi-Fi security & access and help desk support.

Oversaw all aspects of the Y2K Project for COVA, a financial services firm, to a successful budget and project completion. This process involved, but was not limited to, changing the main network servers from Novell bindery services to Novell directory services and Windows NT servers. Administered servers running DNS, DHCP, WINS, IIS, SNMP, File, Print and other services. Also rolled out laptops to the entire sales and marketing force, which included full purchase, setup, configuration and training on proper use of the hardware and software of said laptops.

Handled support calls and correspondence from our customer base. Implemented various solutions to improve levels of customer service, such as an Automated Voice Response system and a Customer Service Tracking Database.
