Having obtained a D.U.T. (french two-year technical university degree), I went to Bordeaux 1 University in order to graduate from a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Then I attended the courses of the High Performance Computing speciality. Today, I graduated from a Master degree of Computer Science in High Performance Computing. I am very interested in works about the understanding of modern computers (super computers) in order to make best use of them. I have been research assistant at the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien, Austria) for three years. It took part of a european project called EPiGRAM (http://www.epigram-project.eu/) which has aimed to prepare Message Passing and PGAS programming models for Exascale systems. More exactly, the main goal was the study of the work distribution over several levels of parallelism (inter nodes and intra node) in order to determine the best nodes/threads combinations. The end of this work is to use my solution into a domain specific language called Qiral. That is why I was also interested in code generation methods and auto-tuning methods. -
