👋 Hi there! My name is Piv Tha, but you can call me “Sun” because I love cycling under the SUN ☀️! ========💡 My current exciting mission: Now I have joined Phum Impact Battambang as a co-founder. Where I am using my digital content creation and marketing skills to bring inspiring, innovative, and entrepreneurial content to Battambang youth, assisting and facilitating programs, workshops, and events where youth, changemakers, innovators, and entrepreneurs can connect and develop their capacity and creativity with the help of experts or mentors from the province or outside. **Phum Impact Battambang works closely with Impact Hub Phnom Penh to build locally rooted communities in Battambang where innovation, creativity, and impact come as one by the acts of entrepreneurial youth.⭐️ I’m in it to turn possibilities into realities for Battambang and beyond. Shall we connect?========Before I am here:👨🎓 In 2013, I finished my degree in Bachelor of Business Administration, as well as, Tourism and Travel Services Management at the National University of Battambang, Battambang city - The city where I was born and grew up as who I am today.🚴♂️ After working in a bike shop for a while, In 2014, I finally owned a bike tour business, “The Battambang Bike” which is based in Battambang. As the owner of this tour startup, I became a connector for tourists to local tour guides and a tour guide myself. I’ve learned from managing the logistics for the cycling tour to repairing the bikes in the beautiful rice fields. Most importantly, I’ve learned to become a marketer, videographer, and website developer of The Battambang Bike (Thanks to the help from Google)! 💻📸 ======When I am not working;- I cycle and make videos about local foods around Battambang, my beautiful city. 🚲 And when I meet inspiring people along my way, I’d ask them to meet again next time. That is when I’d bring along my camera and make a video about them or bring a group of youth to listen to their inspiring stories too!- I play football or go hiking or do camping - If I am not exploring nature or meeting awesome people, I go on the internet and learn new digital skills and practice it the next day with my projects! ⭐️ Core values: “Better than yesterday”, Perseverance & Constant Learning.

They're both found out for themselves that Battambang city and the surrounding countryside and the Cambodian people are simply beautiful.From this, he thought the best way of sharing what he had found for himself was to get some of the best bike tours around created, so anyone else who visited could easily do the same. The Battambang Bike was established, 2012.Jam moved on and taken with him some magical memories of Battambang province and people, and his bicycle of course....…but he employed local youth entrepreneurs, who had the same vision and now these guys totally run the show, with the same passion and love for their country, and desire to share for the same reasons that Jam had.So these days, we're English-speaking local guides with a very good knowledge of the area and we just love sharing the good, rich, local culture. We are also proud to be an ethical business, not an NGO, owned and run by Cambodian youth, for Cambodian youth, paying fair wages and investing in staff training and development.
