I am an individual who gets excited by challenging and complex problems in the business environment. Over the years, I have developed technical and soft skills to resolve bottlenecks in both manufacturing and service-based companies – of which these skills were acquired through years of strategy development, management consulting and operations management, supplemented by my BSc in Electrical Engineering and MBA degrees from Wits University, and my Human Resource-focused MPhil in Management degree from UCAM.I have also developed the skills to lead teams that can deliver results, most often in teams with diverse cultures and experiences. I have developed the ability to put out fires whilst providing guidance on implementing long strategic goals at a senior and executive level. I previously led a team of 18 managers in 11 JoJo plants across South Africa and Zimbabwe, driving the transformation of JoJo to be a leading Water Solutions Company.I am currently co-lead the futures practice which focuses on integration between people and technology. Key elements for the practice are, business and operating model designs, organisational design, culture and change management.I am currently a non-executive director and Chairperson of the African Youth Development Fund (AYDF) Board, an organisation focused on helping the youth reach their full potential.
