Data Scientist
Current• Working with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities to solve business problems by leveraging company data and applying advanced data modelling techniques• Partnering with the internal Data Services team to ensure proper data is captured in analytical environments, establish data pipelines, implement models, and monitor outcomes• Assessing the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques• Mining and analysing data, drawing insights and sharing these effectively across the business to enhance business decision-making and optimising member and commercial business outcomes• Design and build publication-ready data visualizations using unstructured and structured data• Using predictive modelling to increase and optimise customer experiences, revenue generation, targeting and other business outcomes. Developing company A/B testing framework and test model quality• Providing support with the development of guidelines and best practices related to data science• Developing processes and tools to monitor and analyse model performance and data accuracy• Continually look to learn and master new technologies and techniques which will offer value for self and PPS• Liaising between technical teams and specialists and business stakeholders, fostering inter-departmental coordination and cooperation• Data governance (accessibility, ownership and security). Identifying client data quality concerns and providing feedback to the Data Engineer and/or relevant councils• Maintaining a thorough understanding of the business and data strategy• Training other employees in the organization on how to access Data Analytics and how to make the best use of available solutions
