Elected by staff to be a school based representative on the Board of Trustees and currently serving on the Governance sub committee. The board of trustees offer leadership to the school and make key strategic decisions in relation to finance, staffing and governance.

Delivering History at GCSE and A-Level and Sociology at GCSE as part of a successful Humanities department. Our results are consistently above the national average and we have a track record of our students going on to study History at university. My interests include:- Developing the teaching of Black and other diverse histories.- Using digital technology in the classroom.- Utilising creative approaches to learning.- I have been a key lead on producing our annual Black History Show for 5 years.

This project seeks to understand what the call for a Decolonised Curriculum might mean and what it might look like in practice, within the context of our school. I have delivered cross departmental training, with the aim to create space and resources for dialogue among all members of teaching staff.

Acting as the Lambeth Baylis Trustee - this was a one year attachment to The Old Vic Board, exclusively offered to a Lambeth Resident aged 18-30.

Co-author of History revision guide for the AQA GCSE unit - Migration, Empires and the People.

The MC is made up of a Chair, a Minute Taker and two representatives from each of the six subgroups. It meets monthly to exchange information, discuss and decide matters raised by the subgroups. I acted as one of the representatives from Housing Management, offering guidance, nuance and clarity on the decisions that were made in the meeting and seeking additional advice from the Management Committee.

The HM Subgroup meets monthly and is responsible for:- Recording and monitoring the payment- pursuing rent arrears- helping tenants who are having problems with housing benefits- liaising with Finance to calculate new Co-op rents each year- responding to requests from tenants for assistance in various housing matters - dealing with more ‘social’ issues such as disagreements between tenants- following our policies and procedures relating to complaints and anti-social behaviourI have completed the following roles during my time:- Minute Taker: Accurately recording minutes from meetings, including actions. These minutes are posted on the housing group's website. - Chair: Planning and running the direction of our monthly meetings, ensuring that decisions are made in accordance with our policies.

The Welfare Officer is a member of Housing Management and acts as the first point of contact for members with a range of housing-related problems, including complaints. I have dealt with a number of complex cases, in accordance with our complaints policy. In 2016 I coordinated organisation wide training on Conflict Resolution with Transforming Conflict. Then aim was to explore restorative approaches to conflict by providing an underpinning ethos and philosophy for making, maintaining and repairing relationships and for fostering a sense of social responsibility and shared accountability.

Awarded the title of Teaching Fellow for participation in a program which drew on a wealth of scholarship in the field, subject-pedagogical conceptual work by Justice to History, and new empirical research from the Legacies of British Slave-ownership project at University College London. This led to the framing of a set of principles to govern the teaching of Britain and development of new approaches and resources for use in the classroom.

Planning and delivering activities and managing budgets of approx. £200,000 for transnational school based projects, across a variety of European countries and partnership schools. Results and project outcomes were disseminated to the British Council.

Working as an LSA in a non selective inner city comprehensive school, catering to students from North Lambeth and Southwark. I coordinated off site vocational study for students, liaising with and organising travel for students to Lambeth College. The students I worked with came from diverse backgrounds and had a variety of additional educational needs.

Working as a fitness instructor and duty manager, I was responsible for health and safety protocols for client members and staff members.
